Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, non-threatening manner over twelve, thought-provoking weekly sessions. It's low key, friendly and fun. And it's supported by all the main Christian denominations.

St. Matt's are joining up with local churches to offer a town-wide course this Autumn - the course begins on 20th September 2011. If you want to take part in these courses, please contact the church office using the form on the right.

The course will be led by members of local churches. A typical evening begins with a meal together followed by a talk on the evening's topic. After that, there is an opportunity to have your say in a discussion. Alpha is a great way to find out more about God, what He thinks of you and what life is all about.

More than two million people worldwide have found it a worthwhile experience, completing the Alpha course in churches, homes, schools, universities and prisons.
