St. Matt’s Community Larder

Fridays 9.30am to 10.45am in the Bethel Hall

What is it?
A community larder receives surplus and short date food from supermarkets to distribute to people in the community.

When and where is it?
St. Matt’s Community Larder is open in the Bethel Hall (between numbers 25 and 27 High Brooms Road) every Friday between 9.30am and 10.45am.

Who can use it?
Anyone can come to the community larder. There are no restrictions and no referral is needed.

What does it cost?
For a small donation of £5 you can take away a bag full of quality food.

Can I donate food to the larder?
Yes you can! Food given by supermarkets and Fareshare is decreasing at the moment, and demand for the larder is increasing, so any donations are welcome. Food donated needs to be in date, and can be dropped at the Bethel Hall on Thursday or Friday mornings, or left in our crate at Lidl Tunbridge Wells.
