15 Jul 2010

Saturday 16th October at St Matthew's Church - just for women!

Elaine is a writer and broadcaster, making regular appearances on BBC Radio 4's Thought for the Day. She is Director of Education and Training at the Wilson Carlile College, Sheffield, and the Church Army. She is the President of Tearfund and a member of the General Synod and was on the Crown Nominations Commission. Elaine is married to Alan Storkey, an economist, writer and lecturer. They have three sons, and four young grandsons.

Elaine will be speaking on the way that the role of women has changed over the last few decades. There will be ministry time at the end of the morning and again at the end of the afternoon.
