Youth

St. Matthew's has an extensive youth work programme with activities for all ages. The activities are staffed by caring teams and we take the issues of safety and security seriously. All our team members go through rigorous security checks before they are allowed on our teams. We also play an active role in a vibrant town-wide youth scene.

	Encounter Culture Encounter Culture is for young people in and around High Brooms. Fuelled by a enthusiastic team with a big heart and an inability to keep God's love to themselves, Encounter Culture covers all sorts of activities and get togethers - and it even has its own website!
	Sunday Mornings On Sunday's we have groups for young people of all ages to attend during the morning service. On the first Sunday of the month, however, we all come together to worship during our Family Service. More information has been provided in the Sunday Morning section of this website.
	During The Week We run many activities for young people and children during the week. The details of these can be found in the ‘During the Week' section or in ‘What's on.'The youth work is currently organised by a large team of dedicated and skilled volunteers.
	Kairos In recent years, St. Matthew's has established Kairos, a gap year scheme for young people in which they receive a year's worth of discipleship training and opportunities to serve in the Tunbridge Wells area.
