Encounter Culture is for young people in and around High Brooms. Fuelled by a enthusiastic team with a big heart and an inability to keep God's love to themselves, Encounter Culture covers all sorts of activities and get togethers - and it even has its own website!

On Sunday's we have groups for young people of all ages to attend during the morning service. On the first Sunday of the month, however, we all come together to worship during our Family Service. More information has been provided in the Sunday Morning section of this website.

We run many activities for young people and children during the week. The details of these can be found in the ‘During the Week' section or in ‘What's on.'The youth work is run by our youth minister, Richard Thomas, who is supported by a large team of dedicated and skilled volunteers.

In recent years, St. Matthew's has established Kairos, a gap year scheme for young people in which they receive a year's worth of discipleship training and opportunities to serve in the Tunbridge Wells area.
