We are committed to the vital importance of Prayer and it is at the heart of all we do as a church. It plays an important part in our church services and in the life of our small groups.

Specific prayer backs up our outreach programmes and all that takes place in our church life.

Monthly Prayer meeting

An ‘All Church' Prayer Meeting is held on the first Monday of each month which everyone is encouraged to attend.

Doors open at 7.30pm, with an 8pm start.

Early morning prayer

Every Monday morning there is an early prayer meeting in church from 8.00 - 9.00am

Everyone is welcome to come along and join us.

The church is also open for prayer at this time every weekday morning.

Sunday morning prayer

We encourage everyone taking part in our Sunday morning service to join together for prayer from 9.20am in the Church vestry. It is a time of the week when we particularly pray for God's presence to be with us as we worship and that He might be in control of all we do as we come together in His name.

Other Regular Prayer meetings

Encounter Culture

A support prayer group meets weekly on Tuesdays at 2.15 - 3.00pm in church and a fortnightly group meets every other Tuesday from 7.30 - 9.00pm at 20 Newlands Road.

Missionary Prayer Breakfast

A monthly Prayer Breakfast takes place on the first Sunday of the month at 8.45 - 9.45am between the monthly 8.00am service of Holy Communion and the 10.00am Family service

Here we receive updates on our overseas missionary links and pray for their specific needs.
