Alpha

Alpha Logo Alpha is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, non-threatening manner over ten, thought-provoking weekly sessions. It's low key, friendly and fun. And it's supported by all the main Christian denominations.

St. Matt's are running an Alpha course through the autumn on Tuesday evenings. You can find out when the course is on from our diary page.

Our courses are led by Jess and Gill Fuller, two members of our church, either in their home or at the church. A typical evening begins with a meal together followed by the evening's topic on a video. After that, there is an opportunity to have your say in a discussion. Alpha is a great way to find out more about God, what He thinks of you and what life is all about.

More than two million people worldwide have found it a worthwhile experience, completing the Alpha course in churches, homes, schools, universities and prisons. Alpha has its own central website and you might like to look at their site for more information. The link we have provided takes you to their "welcome area" where you can find out more and read answers to commonly asked questions.
